As soon as Simcha Whitehill turned 18, she moved to New York City because she was curious— and it has only made her more curious.

Simcha is graduate of the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University where she earned a B.F.A. in Dramatic Writing and a deep appreciation for a city that has fresh bagels available around the clock.

Over her career, she has written for brands like Pokémon, Disney, Nickelodeon, and CNN. She has authored tv shows, educational games, articles, and over 100 children’s books published by Scholastic, DK, Quarto, Hachette, and Penguin Random House, but she has found her greatest challenge to be writing her own bio.

When she is not rethinking every line, Simcha loves painting her nails, browsing gift shops, reading to her kids, and celebrating any holiday where she can craft the decorations.
